Local MP Robbie Moore joined Keighley District Scout Council's Annual St George's Day Parade on Sunday at Keighley Parish Church.
The event included a Scout parade featuring young people from the local Group, who were were accompanied by the traditional Pipe Band.
Hundreds of people, from across the organisation's various sections, took part in the event with welcome was given by Scouting district chair Joe Gallucci, and the national anthem was sung.
There was a silent tribute for those from the movement locally who had died, referred to in Scouting as 'gone home', during the past year.
District commissioner Jeanette Young also led members in the renewal of their promises.
Robbie Moore MP said:
It was an honour to attend Keighley District Scout Council's annual St George's Day Parade to celebrate the achievements of our brilliant young Scouts and present three merit awards for outstanding service.
The parade was a reminder of the values of teamwork, leadership, and community service that the Scouts instills in young people across our community, and I would like to congratulate our Keighley District Scout group for organising such a brilliant St George’s Day parade.
