Keighley & Ilkley MP Robbie Moore has hosted a “Question Time” style event at a local school alongside a fellow Bradford District MP Naz Shah, taking questions from students on a range of local and national issues.
The Q&A, which took place at Ilkley Grammar School, featured questions about Mr Moore’s role as an MP, climate change, local priorities and recent events in Westminster. The event was also attended by fellow Bradford District MP Naz Shah.
Robbie Moore MP said:
I would like to thank Rossana Booth and the entire teaching team at Ilkley Grammar School for inviting me to this fantastic event.
As MPs, it is vital that we hear and represent everyone in our community including students and I was very interested not just to respond to questions they had but to hear their concerns on broader national issues.
The students are a credit to their teachers who I know work tirelessly to ensure they are delivering the highest standard of education.
I wish all the students the best of luck with their A level politics studies, and I look forward to welcoming them to Westminster in December!”
