Keighley’s Member of Parliament Robbie Moore has visited St Anne's Catholic Primary School in Keighley to speak about his role as an MP and take questions from a year 4 group.
Mr Moore spoke about his local priorities for Keighley, highlighting the need for a new Airedale Hospital and protecting Keighley’s Green Space on North Street, with Mr Moore being asked a range of questions on his role in Parliament, including meeting King Charles.
The MP regularly meets with school groups to share his experiences as an elected representative and paid tribute the St Anne’s visit for its learning environment.
Commenting on his visit, Robbie Moore MP said:
"It was a privilege to visit St Anne's Catholic Primary School and spend time with the students to talk about my role as Keighley’s Member of Parliament.
Their questions were thought-provoking, and it was fantastic to see such enthusiasm about our town from our young people. St Anne’s Catholic Primary has a brilliant teaching team with a lovely learning environment. It was a real privilege to visit, engage and talk to our next generation about what matters to them.
Engaging with our young people is truly one of the best parts of the job."
