Young people deserve the best start in life, so I’ll work with parents and teachers to make sure local schools have the facilities they need to raise standards. That means improved teaching blocks with new technology and better equipment. I’ll push for an increase in access to vocational qualifications, like those at Keighley College, so we can get talented young people into ‘earn and learn’ apprenticeships.
