Keighley and Ilkley MP Robbie Moore has paid tribute to the service and sacrifice of all those who have defended Britain’s freedoms and protected our way of life, during this year’s Remembrance Sunday services.
Mr. Moore took part in parades in both Keighley and Ilkley, and lay a wreath at each of the respective cenotaphs on behalf of the community, alongside speaking at a service which took place at Keighley’s Shared Church.
The local MP also visited other cenotaphs across the constituency, including Haworth, Oakworth, Silsden, Steeton, East Morton and Addingham to pay his respects privately.
Robbie Moore MP said “This year, as every year, people across our community came together to remember those who served our country, and who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
As your MP, it is a huge honour to represent our community on what is such an important day. Sunshine and shadows pass, but loving memories will ever last. We will remember them.”
