A West Yorkshire business has made a major move to a bigger premises. Poundtoy is an online supplier of children’s toys at discount rates and the firm has recently moved to a new Keighley warehouse as the business continues to grow.
By buying toys in bulk and selling online Poundtoy have expanded their business over three years from their Crossroads warehouse to a more substantial Keighley site. Robbie Moore MP recently visited their new premises where they showed him round the facility which is gearing up to provide affordable toys to children in his constituency this Christmas.
Elliot Lumb, the founder of Poundtoy told Robbie their biggest challenge at the moment is staying on top of the speed of the company’s growth. They employ 27 full time members of staff and hundreds of casual workers, many of whom come from Robbie’s Keighley and Ilkley constituency.
Robbie said:
“Poundtoy could end up saving Christmas for a lot of families who have to celebrate on a reduced budget this year. I’m glad that a business looking to grow has seen Keighley as a logical place to expand to because it’s a great sign that people see this as a great place to invest and do business.”
