Local MP for Keighley and Ilkley Robbie Moore has praised organisers of the monthly Stanbury Village Coffee Morning following a successful morning catching up with local residents to discuss issues impacting the village and the wider Worth Valley area.
The coffee morning, which takes place on the first Saturday of each month, has quickly become a community staple. Now in its second month, the event saw a great turnout with delicious homemade cakes and bakes on offer.
Robbie Moore MP said:
"It was brilliant to attend the Stanbury Village Coffee Morning and to catch up with residents about local issues in the village and across the Worth Valley. The company was fantastic, the conversation engaging, and the homemade cakes and coffee were delicious. I encourage anyone who can make it next month to come along. It is held in the Church from 10am."
