“Last week on Small Business Saturday, I had the opportunity to get out and about to speak to some of our brilliant small independent business owners from right across the constituency, including some of our fantastic stall holders at Keighley Market. It's always great to hear directly from business owners about their priorities for our local small business landscape - and it was so encouraging to see a real drive for people to come together as a community and shop local this year.
Our small independent businesses really are the backbone of our local economy - and in the run up to Christmas and beyond it is so important we do all we can to eat, drink, relax and shop locally."
