Keighley and Ilkley's MP Robbie Moore has paid tribute to Armed Forces personnel and veterans to mark Armed Forces Day.
To mark the occasion, local groups and members of the Armed Forces community also attended Keighley Drill Hall for an Armed Forces support drop-in.
The event, held for former armed forces personnel and their families, offered information, assistance and advice to those who have so selflessly served our country.
The event also showcased a range of services and organisations dedicated to helping veterans and their families, as well as serving as an opportunity to connect with fellow veterans.
Robbie Moore MP said:
Our Armed Forces protect and defend our freedom each and every day - and we should never take their service and dedication to our nation for granted.
We are forever indebted to our veterans, their families and all who serve, and it is vital that we support all of our current and former armed service personnel.
It was therefore great to attend and support a drop-in held at Keighley’s Drill Hall for former armed forces personnel and their families to offer information, assistance and advice to those who have so selflessly served our country.
The event showcased a range of services and organisations dedicated to helping veterans and their families, as well as serving as an opportunity to connect with fellow veterans.
Keighley and Ilkley’s veterans will always have my full support. This #ArmedForcesDay we say thank you to every soldier, sailor and aviator, and their families, who represent the very best of this country.
