Local MP Robbie Moore has called on local daredevils and thrill-seekers to get involved in Sue Ryder’s 2023 Zip the Cow event, a Zip slide from the top of the Cow, at the Cow and Calf rocks above Ilkley, to help support Sue Ryder's expert, compassionate care.
Participants will take in spectacular views of Wharfedale, walking to the top of the iconic Cow and Calf Rocks above Ilkley before zip-lining 270m at speeds of up to 35 miles per hour.
Unlike a run or cycle ride, it requires zero training. In previous events, Sue Ryder have had participants ranging in age from 8 to 80, some of whom had disabilities, and so it really is an event for all.
This event will be held on the morning and afternoon of Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd July 2023, with places still remaining on:
