The STC's Eid Festival at Cliffe Castle, funded by the Keighley Town Council, has been hailed as a success by local MP Robbie Moore.
Despite the intermittent rain, the event brought together residents across Keighley for a day of joy, entertainment, and togetherness.
The event featured an array of entertaining activities and performances, including amusement rides provided by Marshall Amusements and musical performances by Gubi Sandhu and YK, as well as DJ Saj Cobra.
GoWild Outdoors also set up a soft archery stand, offering attendees the opportunity to learn a new skill, with local youth workers also organising sports activities for young people at the event.
Robbie Moore said MP:
"It was great to attend the Summer Eid Festival at Cliffe Castle this weekend organised by Hassan Ali, STC and funded by Keighley Town Council, who all did an outstanding job in bringing our community together for a day filled with family fun, a variety of engaging stalls and some absolutely fantastic live entertainment.
Events like these are a great way to celebrate our town’s rich cultural heritage and strengthen community bonds. The food was excellent and it was brilliant to have a go at soft archery organised by Chris Calveley from GoWild Outdoors, joining many young people who also had a go. I look forward to future celebrations that continue to showcase just what Keighley has to offer.”
