Keighley's local Scout movement has turned out in force for its annual St George's Day parade and service.
Robbie Moore MP said:
"With St Georgeās Day this coming Tuesday, it was great to take part this Sunday morning in the annual Keighley District Scouts St Georgeās Day Parade where young members and Scout leaders made their way through the centre of town, led by a piper, for an open-air service held at Church Green.
Hundreds of people, from across the organisation's various sections, took part in the event. The national anthem was sung - and we were joined by West Yorkshire Scouts county youth commissioner Toby Hammond.
District commissioner Jeanette Young led members in the renewal of their promises - and it was fantastic to see three merit awards presented to leaders, for outstanding service.
Happy St Georgeās Day on Tuesday everyone!"
