Local MP Robbie Moore has praised organisers for a "fantastic day" at Silsden Gala.
Speaking after the event, Mr Moore said:
"It was brilliant to attend this year’s Silsden’s Gala today.
I think it is the first time in about 10 years that the sun brightly shone for the whole day!
The event started with a fantastic parade through the centre of Silsden before everyone made their way to Silsden Park.
It was great to see the Gala strongly supported by the whole community with lots of competitions and stands representing many fantastic local organisations - including our mighty Silsden Storm & Stormettes ARLFC, Keighley Lions Club , Crumbs Voices Of Yorkshire and many, many more!
There was no better way to spend a Sunday afternoon. I even won a bottle of Pink Soapy Shower Gel on the Tombola!
Huge well done to all of the organisers for organising a great event."
