Local girl guides have staged their annual Thinking Day Parade on North Street in Keighley, where girl guiding groups from across the area had the chance to celebrate their work over the past year.
Speaking after the event, the town's MP Robbie Moore paid tribute:
"It was a real pleasure to be invited along to join Keighley’s Girlguiding Thinking Day parade and also to attend a beautiful service at Keighley’s Shared Church, where the Brownies gave a fantastic presentation to celebrate 110 years of the section. It was a proud day for the town and a chance to say a huge thank you to all who are involved in volunteering within the Girl Guiding movement. Many congratulations to Angela Simpson, who was awarded the Sarah Robinson Award for more than 30 years of service to the group, as well as all who are involved in Girl Guiding across our area for their continued hard work and dedication."
