A Warm Home Discount scheme for permanent park home residents has recently received a second injection of cash.
As well as a £150 payment to help with energy bills, ‘Heat the Home' bundle and the opportunity to replace or upgrade an older, inefficient electrical appliance is being offered to permanent park home residents through the Charis Park Home Warm Home Discount scheme.
The Heat the Home package includes the opportunity to install radiator reflector foil, insulation film and draught excluders for improved warmth retention. Appliances are available for those who ticked the appliance box on their original application.
Charis’s Park Homes Warm Home Discount scheme enables residents living in a park home in England, Wales or Scotland to apply for a £150 payment to help towards the cost of their energy bills.
If you’re a permanent resident living in a park home and you pay for your electricity to your park site owner you can apply for the £150 payment.
Eligibility benefits apply - applicants need to be living in a park home, and either receive government support or benefits, or have a household income below £18,723.
For anyone who has yet to apply, they can do so through Charis' dedicated Park Homes Warm Home Discount application page at https://www.lightningreach.org/application-portal?referral=parkhomes.
The Charis Park Homes Warm Home Discount is an Ofgem regulated, multi-supplier initiative which this year is being funded by E.ON Next and Ovo Energy.

“As winter temperatures continue to fall, these additional funds are a welcome avenue of support for residents of park homes across Keighley, Ilkley, Silsden and the Worth Valley. If you have already been awarded the £150 Warm Home Discount you will automatically receive the Heat the Home bundle, and I encourage park home residents who have not yet made an application to check their eligibility and take advantage of these extra benefits by visiting https://protect-eu.mimecast.com/s/2vFzCOM3rcpJGW3EUEpPcx?domain=charisgrants.com.”
