Local MP Robbie Moore has joined residents, local councillors and staff in Haworth to open a new Wild's Bakery on Haworth Road:
Today, it was a real privilege to be invited along by the Bateman and Kassapian families to open their brand new Wild’s Bakery & Cafe in Cross Roads. The opening marks a huge, exciting step forward for the Grandma Wild's business.
The Bakery & Cafe will be a great community asset for all in Cross Roads and the wider Worth Valley community to enjoy. As a true family business, now in its fourth generation, the opening was a fantastic event and it was brilliant to see so many from Cross Roads coming down to join in and take part in the opening.
The Grandma Wild’s family business continues to go from strength to strength - baking biscuits with many of the same recipes created by their great Grandmother Annie Wild over 100 years ago.
I felt incredibly honoured to open the new Wilds Bakery & Cafe alongside Mrs Bateman. Following the opening, it was fantastic to have tour of the bakery in Steeton and meet the team.
