Local MP Robbie Moore has paid tribute to the best of British food and farming at a visit to the Great Yorkshire Show.
Speaking after his visit, Mr Moore said:
"I had an absolutely brilliant day at the Great Yorkshire Show - the UKs premier agricultural show - showcasing the very best of our food & farming sector!
Farmers are the beating heart of our rural economy.They work tirelessly, in all conditions to ensure we have access to great quality food to put on our plates.
It was good to meet with the NFU North Team and the Northern CLA Team to talk about food security, supply chains and ongoing climate challenges facing our farmers.
I also met with lots of local residents - including local Keighley artist, Hilary Roper who had a stand at the show with her beautiful artwork!"
