Keighley and Ilkley MP Robbie Moore has paid tribute to the service and sacrifice of all those who defended Britain’s freedoms since the first World War and conflicts since, during this year’s Remembrance Sunday services.
Mr. Moore took part in remembrance services in both Keighley and Ilkley, laying a wreath at both sites on behalf of the community. Mr Moore also spoke at a service which took in Keighley.
The local MP also visited other cenotaphs across the constituency to pay his respects privately.
Robbie Moore MP said:
"On Sunday our town came together to pay tribute to those who have sacrificed everything in service of our country, from the First and Second World Wars to the conflicts since.
It was incredibly moving to see residents at services in Keighley and in Ilkley standing together to remember the sacrifices of friends and loved one’s.
To our armed forces, our veterans, and all who have played their part in defending our country and our freedoms – I salute you."
