Local MP Robbie Moore has met with Cllr Tito Arana, Cllr Sarah Cotton and Cllr Bev Underwood to receive an update on the campaign to save The Cross Roads Inn.
A Steering group backed by Haworth, Cross Roads & Stanbury Parish Council has now been created, and they are asking for the local support to keep this pub open.
Despite being the oldest community building in the village and an asset of community value, The Cross Roads Inn faces demolition or potential redevelopment if an agreement to buy the pub is not reached before July 23rd.
The campaign group are holding a public meeting on Saturday 11th March at 1pm at Lees Primary School.
I urge everyone interested in supporting the campaign to attend the public meeting so we can show our strength in numbers.
