Local mindfulness business Yoga Wellbeing has marked its ten year anniversary with a successful sell-out weekend of workshops, classes, and talks for residents across the Keighley area.
Celebrating ten years she opened her business on East Parade, Yoga Wellbeing Founder Sarah-Jane Fortune’s “10 year mind, body, spirit” weekend featured yoga classes, meditation, mediumship, tarot readings, Reiki and mindfulness workshops, with over 15 local mindfulness facilitators from across Yorkshire travelling to Keighley to volunteer and support the event.
Funds from the event were donated to local mental health organisation Missing Peace Wellbeing & Support, with Missing Peace founder Nick Smith, who was also celebrating his 10 year anniversary as a peer support expert in Keighley, teaming up with local mindfulness business
Local MP, Robbie Moore attended the event to meet with Yoga Wellbeing Founder Sarah-Jane Fortune and Emma Gibson and Nick Smith from Missing Peace, praising both local organisations for their work in the Keighley area.
Robbie Moore MP said:
“Over the past decade, Yoga Wellbeing has gone from strength to strength, growing in size and making a real difference so many residents across the Keighley area, who I know love to come along to make the most of Yoga Wellbeing’s calming surroundings.
SJ has a fantastic business, and along with a great cafe featuring some incredibly delicious cakes and great coffee, it really is a brilliant place to be. So if you haven’t been down yet to take a look, I strongly recommend you do.
My congratulations go to SJ on celebrating her 10 year anniversary and putting on such a fantastic event, as well as Nick, Emma, and the entire team from Missing Peace Wellbeing + Support for their dedication to improving community wellbeing.”
