A local apprentice has been celebrated at Downing Street event this week.
Harry Pullan, a talented apprentice working at Keighley's Byworth Boilers, was nominated as the town's Skills Champion by local MP Robbie Moore following outstanding success at the WorldSkills UK welding competition earlier this year.
Accompanied by Byworth Production Director Rob Baldwin and Technical Director Jason Atkinson, the trio received a tour of Parliament from Mr Moore before making their way to Downing Street for the reception.
Hosted by Education Secretary Gillian Keegan and bringing together skills champions from across the UK, the reception celebrated the achievements of those who have excelled in apprenticeships across various sectors.
Speaking about their experiences:

Robbie Moore, Keighley and Ilkley's MP, said:
"It is with immense pride that I nominated Harry as our local skills champion. He is an extremely talented young man with an extremely bright future ahead of him, and a reflection of the incredible talent we have across our community.
I hope that Harryโs achievements will serve as an inspiration to the many young men and women in Keighley who are considering embarking into the world of apprenticeships, and I think I speak for everyone across our town in wishing Harry the very best of luck as he advances to the final stage of the WorldSkills UK competition next month. Good luck Harry!โ
