Local MP Robbie Moore has met with the Keighley Lions to meet with members and set out his priorities for Keighley.
The MP talked about his plans for a full rebuild of Airedale Hospital, as well as his pledge to ensure that local Greenbelt land is protected.
The Keighley Lions organise charity work for a number of good causes, including organising Santa's grotto in Morrisons supermarket every Christmas, sporting events and fundraising.
Keighley Lions, together with Sight Areidale, are arranging a Coronation Fayre and Cream Tea at the Sight Airedale Rooms in Scott Street on Saturday, April 29 from 10am to 3pm.
Robbie Moore MP said:
Last night, it was great to be invited along by Carole Ogden, the President of the Keighley Lions Club as their guest speaker - to talk about life as a MP but also about my priorities for Keighley and our wider area. There were also lots of great questions on a whole range of topics from the Airedale Hospital to ensuring our Greenbelt stays green.
t was brilliant to oversee the induction of two new Lion members, Tina and Robert to the Club and to hear about the Clubs growing membership, as well as the fantastic work they are going across our town and wider area.
Thank you to all for the very kind invite.
