Local MP Robbie Moore has praised this year’s Keighley & District Agricultural Show, which showcased a wide array of local produce and livestock, despite facing a brief period of rain.
The event, known for its celebration of agriculture and community spirit, saw participation from numerous trade stands, exhibitors, and stallholders. Mr Moore praised the hard work that went into organising the show, noting that it could not take place without the efforts of local businesses and volunteers.
This year’s show featured a strong turnout in livestock and a diverse range of classes for homemade cakes, flowers, fruits, vegetables, and knitwear.

“It was great to attend this year’s Keighley & District Agricultural Show! It was another fantastic success. Huge well done to all involved in organising today’s show - even though the rain came on for a short period, it didn’t spoil our spirit. Brilliant to see so many trade stands, exhibitors and stall holders come along - the show couldn’t happen without you. It was also great to see a good turnout in livestock this year. There was certainly something for everyone, and great to see our farming community represented so strongly. Huge well done also to all who took part in showing their produce - whether it be their homemade cakes, flowers, fruit, vegetables or knitwear - it was a pleasure looking around them all. For me, it was brilliant to spend time walking around speaking to people and having some fun catching up with all. Thank you to everyone - you made our mighty town of Keighley very proud today!”
